Lean Financial Model

As a volunteer organization, Operation North Star has zero paid staff, zero overhead, and all administrative costs to date have been paid by our volunteers. All donations go straight to the protection and evacuation of vulnerable Afghans.

Our Current Needs

Operation North Star has an immediate need to raise $350,000, simply to keep our families in safe houses. We are also looking to raise $700,000 to pay for chartered flights and ground evacuation options. Upon completion of our initial fundraising goals, we will reevaluate our needs based on the security situation and any restrictions on evacuation flights at that time.

How to Donate

To solicit tax deductible donations, Operation North Star has partnered with Flanders Fields, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services to U.S. veterans. To donate to Operation North Star, click on the button below to open a dedicated donations page on Flanders Fields' website that ensures your donation goes to Operation North Star.

Alternatively, to avoid processing fees, particularly for larger donations, you can also wire the donation to Flanders Fields and direct it to Operation North Star. Wiring instructions can be provided upon request by contacting us below.

Testimonials

Among the many vulnerable Afghans that Operation North Star has housed and evacuated are a number who would be willing to share with donors how the Taliban victory and Operation North Star’s efforts have affected their lives.

While they cannot be identified here, Operation North Star can introduce donors to these Afghans, along with the current and former U.S. officials who helped us identify and connect with these hunted individuals. In other words, Operation North Star has a proven track record with a grateful collection of facilitators and beneficiaries who can testify to the robust infrastructure we have built, and the lives it is saving.
